And here we are on March 31 - someone said it was springtime! Doesn't look like it, does it? Notice the tulip foliage - they are trying!!
About two weeks ago, I cut back the garden, raked it, and fertilized. The tulips were peeking through (you can see the greenery). We can't wait for the tulips to "pop", especially since we've been in Brazil the last two years during their peak. Not this year, tho. We're going to be right here watching and cheering for every one of the 1000 or so blooms. My only trip during tulip season is to Texas to keep Kayla and Luke while K & K go on a mission to India. Keep in mind, Kevin, that if the blooms are at their best, I will call off my trip. That's OK, isn't it???
SNOW!?!! Silly Utah. We don't have nearly as many as you, but our tulips have started to come up, too! We didn't fertilize, or rake, so I don't think our tulips like us as much as yours like you. As a result, they probably won't reward us with as awesome as blooms but I can't wait to see them none-the-less!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring!
